I am an aspiring communications professional from Orange County, Calif. interested in working in the sports and entertainment industry. I am majoring in public relations and minoring in business administration at Boston University.
Outside of the classroom, I am a marketing and communications intern for the Arroyo Seco Saints and the California Collegiate League, one of the premier college summer baseball organizations on the West Coast. I develop and implement social media and communications strategies, as well as create content for the team and league and assist with team operations. I am also a digital design and marketing intern for BU Dining Services, where I create digital assets and assist with marketing campaign planning.
Previously, I worked as a digital marketing associate at Blast Athletics from 2019 to 2020 after starting out as a Blast sports media intern during the summer of 2018. I helped to run Blast's email and social media marketing campaigns, in addition to creating digital content, taking photos and videos of athletic events, assisting with hiring and recruiting initiatives and conducting market research and data analysis on the sports fundraising industry.
At BU, I am an associate photo editor at the Daily Free Press and an assistant news editor for WTBU News. Highlights from my time at the Daily Free Press include covering several protests, Black Lives Matter events and photographing Senator Ed Markey and Councilwoman Kenzie Bok. At WTBU News, I have focused on covering sports and national news. I also enjoy reporting and writing for WTBU Music and WTBU Sports, during which I have been able to cover artists such as American Authors and Yungblud, and several BU athletes.
In my free time, I co-host the Coast to Coast NBA Podcast. I also enjoy riding my bike, going to the beach, visiting art museums, drawing and rooting for my favorite sports teams, the LA Dodgers, Lakers and Rams.
